Dani Alves, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for La Liga club Barcelona and the Brazil national team. Considered one of the greatest full-backs of all time, Alves is the most decorated player in the history of football with 43 trophies at senior level,and 44 overall, including the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship. Before joining Barcelona in 2008, Alves spent a successful six-year spell with Sevilla, winning two UEFA Cups and the Copa del Rey with the Andalusian side. He joined Barcelona for €32.5 million, becoming the third-most expensive defender of all-time.
