Who is Dorian Bindels?
Dorian Bindels is a Dutch actor. At a young age Bindels started with acting lessons at Hofplein Rotterdam. After secondary school he studied at Toneelschool Amsterdam, where he obtained his diploma in 2014. During his studies, Bindels played the production Talloze namen in the context of 'Theatre Na de Dam', the Schuinsmarcherers play at the IT's Festival, the DeLaMar Theater in the performance De Tijdspreis, in Oresteia of the NNT, with TG Nachtgasten and was he and his own company at theater festival De Parade in the show Gentle Men. Immediately after his education, Bindels auditioned for the role of Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema in the musical Soldaat van Oranje, after which he would play this role until early 2017. In 2017 he returned to De Parade for the music theater performance Koning van Katoren by De Nachtdieren. After this Bindels played in the DeLaMar Theater in No Panic, a comedy about a farce, and in the musical Soof. Bindels was also seen in Flikken Maastricht, Het Klokhuis, SpangaS, Woezel & Pip friends everywhere, CMC, De Spa and the internet series ANNE+. He also played in the Videoland series Nieuwe Tijden. From September 3, 2018 Bindels can be seen in the RTL 4-soap Good times, bad times in the role of Daan Stern.[1] This is not the first time Bindels has appeared in the soap: in 2011, he already played a small guest role as schoolchild Tim.
